Our husband, Dad, and Poppa was a patient for just shy of a week before he passed away. We would like to thank every single person involved in his care, however, there was one nurse that really stuck out to us, and we would like to say more than just a “thank you” to Marsha. She was his primary nurse from the day he took a turn for the worse until his final days. Her patience, grace, kindness and knowledge were above and beyond! Each day, Marsha greeted our family to make sure we were up to date while being truthful about his condition, never rushing us and answering every single question we had. It was very comforting knowing that he was in the hands of someone so caring and attentive to all his clinical needs. From the big things to the little things like making sure he was always cleaned up, comfortable, and remaining calm in front of, and not only us the family, but also at his bedside. He received a number of visitors throughout the day and Marsha supported this kindly and gave us space to talk with him in his final days. Throughout it all, Marsha was there, and we will never forget that she was there. We hope she knows how she made us feel during that difficult time and how grateful we will eternally be for her.
