Application Requirements

Applicants must meet the following qualifications for appointment to the East Liverpool City Hospital Residency Program

Graduates of medical schools in the U.S. and Canada accredited by the Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME), or Graduates of medical schools in the U.S. and Canada accredited by the American Osteopathic Association (AOA), or Graduates of medical schools outside the United States and Canada who have received a currently valid certificate from the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical graduates prior to appointment.

1. There is no minimum USMLE score
2. Application must be completed within 5 years of graduation date
3. Acceptance of non-US citizens (IMG’s)
4. Accepts ECFMG J-1 Visa students/residents, Med Ed TPL assists with Visa process
5. Annual Stipend for PGY 1 $52,000, PGY 2 $54,000, PGY 3 $56,000
6. Additional Annual $2000 Stipend for educational needs
7. PTO for PGY 1 15 days, PGY 2 and 3 18 days
