Outpatient Laboratory

At ELCH, we seek two qualities for every person that draws your labs, they must be friendly and they must be very skilled. Your experience at the hospital is very meaningful to the East Liverpool Health System health system.

When visiting the hospital, the outpatient lab is easily accessible on the first floor.

Outpatient Lab Hours of Operation:

  • Monday – Friday from 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM

  • Saturday from 7 AM – 11 AM

  • Sunday – Closed

Outpatient Laboratory

The lab, the equipment within it and the technicians are a very important part of your experience in the hospital. The diagnostic capabilities of the department can quickly diagnose medical conditions such as a heart attack and stroke. The recent updates made at ELCH enable the hospital to perform more tests simultaneously, expand the types of tests that are possible and result in a faster diagnosis of life threatening health problems. Our lab team is onsite 24x7x365 to help you return to good health as quickly as possible.

Outpatient Lab

Our outpatient lab is located close to registration, they are open Monday – Friday 7:00 am to 6:00 pm and Saturday 7:00 am to 11:00 am. No Sunday lab hours. Please make certain to bring your doctor’s orders/prescription. For further information contact us at 330-386-2007.

Testing Location for Other Area Businesses

ELCH provides lab testing for local area businesses such as doctor’s offices, nursing homes, retirement communities and other area businesses. The lab includes an extensive set of equipment to meet the needs of many local doctor’s offices and medical facilities.

Drug Testing for Employers

ELCH provides drug testing for employers. Interested employers can contact the Occupational Health department at 330-386-2952 to begin a program with the hospital. When it is necessary to come to the hospital to have the test performed, proceed to the registration desk.
